Workshops and Webinars

Webinars are live online sessions that help you learn the necessary academic skills for successful study. The free one-hour sessions are facilitated via Zoom and led by Academic Skills Advisors. After registering, you will receive an email containing instructions to access the webinar. All sessions are listed in Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). Please adjust to suit your time zone. All are welcome, both new enrolments and continuing students.

Workshops and Assignment Writing Days are held throughout each trimester on selected campuses. The workshops are either a full-day or a half-day program and are facilitated by Academic Skills Advisors to cover key academic skills and assist you with your assignment writing. You can register for an on-campus workshop or assignment writing day by clicking on the Workshop tab below. 

Webinars are offered on a range of days and times. You can use the search function on the right to identify more times and dates. Choose the allocations that best suit your timetable and situation. The calendar to the right can give you a weekly or monthly overview to help plan ahead.

Focused webinars commence pre-o-week; see below for further details and registration. Throughout the trimester, webinars are tailored to focus on the academic skills required for upcoming assessments in your units.

Pre-O-Week registrations will open on Monday, the 26th of August 2024.

All other registrations will open by Friday, the 30th of August.
