Attending Workshops and Webinars

The Student Learning Support Team provides a number of free on-campus Workshops and online Webinars starting during Orientation Week and continuing through to Week 6 of each Term. These on-campus Workshops and online Webinars will help you to develop your academic skills throughout your studies.

To book a workshop or register for a webinar you need to:

  • Download the workshop and webinar schedules below
  • Visit the workshop/webinar booking page
  • Select each Workshop/s or Webinar/s you would like to attend (make sure each is relevant to your studies) and click on the Register button on the registration page
  • On the page that opens, complete the registration details, ensuring that your email address and mobile phone number are entered correctly (we send registration and reminder information to both your email address and  your mobile phone)
  • If you're coming to an on-campus Workshop, make sure that you keep the location and start/end times, which we email to you, handy so you can go straight to the room where the workshop is being presented on arrival
  • If you're attending an online Webinar, make sure you have the Zoom Meeting details, which we email to you,  so you can log into the class-space 5-10 minutes before the Webinar is due to commence
  • The day after each Workshop and Webinar, you will receive an email with a SurveyMonkey link as well as a link to the Webinar slides and narrated video
  • You can attend as many Workshops and Webinars as you want or attend them multiple times
